After coming out as an opener, he scored 112 runs in 102 balls at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which includes 14 fours and two sixes. This is the seventh century of 25-year-old Gill’s ODI career.

At the same time, Gill has become the first cricketer to complete 2500 ODI runs in 50 innings. He broke the record of Amla, who had scored 2486 runs in 50 innings.
