Mandhana has become the number one Indian women cricketer to reach this milestone in the least number of innings. She has broken the record of former captain Mithali Raj in this matter. 14 years ago in 2011, Mithali Raj became the first Indian women cricketer to touch the figure of 4000 runs in ODI cricket.
On January 10, while chasing the target of 239 runs against Ireland, Mandhana played an innings of 41 runs with the help of four fours and 1 skyscraper six in 29 balls.
After this inning, she completed the 4000 run mark in ODI cricket in 95 innings. She has become the first Indian woman cricketer and the third player in the world to reach this milestone in the least number of innings.

If we talk about overall women’s cricket, the world record for scoring the fastest 4000 ODI runs is in the name of Australia’s Belinda Clark, who achieved this feat in 86 innings.
