In Johannesburg, Team India dominated the South African men’s team, sending them to bat first. India’s fast bowlers wreaked havoc, restricting Aiden Markram’s team to a mere 116 runs in 27 overs.
Arshdeep Singh claimed 5 wickets, supported by Avesh Khan’s 4 wickets. Despite an early dismissal of Rituraj Gaikwad for five runs, Sai Sudarshan’s unbeaten 55 and Shreyas Iyer’s 52 led Team India to a comfortable 8-wicket victory.
Meanwhile, in East London, the South African women’s team faced a heavy defeat against Bangladesh. Bangladesh posted a formidable 250 runs batting first, with Murshida Khatun contributing an unbeaten 91 runs.

In response, South Africa struggled, getting all-out for a mere 131 runs. Bangladesh‘s Nahida Akhtar claimed 3 wickets, securing Bangladesh’s first-ever victory against South Africa on their home ground.
