Sunrisers Eastern Cape, who came to bat first, did not have a great start. The first four batsmen of the team did not stay on the crease for long. Batting first in the eliminator match under the captaincy of Aiden Markram, India scored 184 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. David Bedingham scored 27 runs off 14 balls. Tony DeGeorgi scored 14 runs, and Jordan Harman scored 12 runs. Tom Abell scored 10 runs.
