Suryakumar Yadav was born on September 14, 1990, in Mumbai, but his roots are in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. He started his cricket journey by making his first-class debut for Mumbai in 2010, where he scored 73 runs against Delhi. Over the years, he played for both Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. His breakthrough came in 2020 when he scored 480 runs in 16 matches, helping Mumbai Indians win the IPL title. This performance opened the doors to his selection for Team India.

Suryakumar made his T20 International debut on March 14, 2021, against England in Ahmedabad. He amazed everyone by scoring 57 runs off 31 balls in his debut match. Since then, he has played 71 T20 Internationals, scoring 2432 runs at an impressive strike rate of 168.65, including 4 centuries and 20 half-centuries. His highest T20 score is 117 runs, and he is often referred to as “Mr. 360” for his ability to play shots all around the ground.
