Suryakumar Yadav Fails Again in Ranji Trophy Quarterfinal
Suryakumar Yadav could score only 9 runs and once again struggled in red-ball cricket. His form has seen a significant decline in the last two to three months.
His wicket proved to be a big blow for Mumbai, causing the team’s score to falter badly. Mumbai lost four wickets in the first 10 overs, putting the team in trouble.

Questions on Suryakumar’s Poor Form
It is worth noting that Suryakumar Yadav’s performance was very poor in the recently concluded T20 series against England. He scored only 28 runs in five matches. His scores were 0, 12, 14, 0 and 2, due to which questions are being raised on his form.
This match against Haryana is Suryakumar Yadav’s first first-class match after four months. He last played in the Ranji Trophy group stage match against Maharashtra in October, where he could score only 7 runs.
In this Ranji season, he has scored a total of 16 runs in two innings so far and his average has been only 8. The Mumbai team is now struggling to make a comeback in this match.
