Sydney Test: Australia Announces Playing XI, Webster to Debut

Australia’s Playing XI 5th Test: The fifth Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 match will be played between January 3 and January 7 at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. Australia’s host team has announced their strong playing eleven for the upcoming match. Beau Webster has been included in the squad instead of all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.

Talk about Beau Webster He was born on December 1, 1993, in the snug town of Hobart, Tasmania. His current age is 31 years and 32 days. Apart from batting right-handed, he also bowls medium-pace off-breaks with the right hand. His education was completed at Kingston High School.

Beau Webster has so far played 93 First Class, 54 List A and 93 T20 matches in domestic cricket. Meanwhile, he has scored 5297 runs at an average of 37.83 in 159 innings of first-class cricket, 1317 runs at an average of 31.35 in List A in 48 innings and 1700 runs at an average of 26.98 in 79 T20 innings.

Beau Webster has 12 centuries and 24 fifties in List A, one century and seven fifties in First Class and 11 fifties in T20.

Regarding his bowling performance, he has scored 148 in 142 first-class innings at an average of 37.39, 44 in List A at an average of 31.02 in 45 innings, and 24 in 47 innings of T20 at an average of 40.54.
