Mumbai – The preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 have commenced. The tournament, scheduled to take place in West Indies and America from June 1 to June 29, features a total of 20 teams divided into four groups of five each.
Each group will witness intense competition among five teams. Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, Canada, and Ireland. This grouping sets the stage for a high-voltage match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan.
India has consistently triumphed over Pakistan in the ODI World Cup, but Pakistan secured a victory against India in the T20 World Cup, with Virat Kohli leading the Indian team. In the 2022 World Cup, India avenged that defeat.
Additionally, traditional rivals Australia and England find themselves in the same group, with England being the reigning champions of the T20 World Cup 2022.
