Pakistan’s Squad Announcement for T20 World Cup 2024
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its team for the T20 World Cup 2024. Babar Azam will be the captain of the team. PCB had expressed concern about the fitness of Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf, but the good news is that both players are fit and will be seen playing in the World Cup. Spin bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz’s name has been removed from the Pakistan team.
Fast bowler Mohammad Aamir and retired all-rounder Imad Wasim have also been included in the team. Mohammad Aamir played a key role in defeating India in the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy.
