T20 World Cup: Indian team going to play their first practice match with Western Australia

 


The Indian team has reached Australia to be a part of the World Cup to be held from October 16. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team entered the field for the practice of the World Cup. The Indian team is currently in Perth, where they will prepare for the World Cup. After reaching Perth, the Indian team took part in the first training session at the prestigious WACA Stadium on Friday morning. A picture of Indian players was shared by BCCI in which they are seen starting their training at the iconic ground of Perth. The Indian team left for Australia from Mumbai on Thursday.

Most of the cricket teams participating in the World Cup are currently participating in competitive cricket matches. On the other hand, the Indian team will take part in some practice matches before the World Cup. India will take on Western Australia XI in two warm-up matches in Perth on October 10 and 13. After Perth, the Indian team will travel to Brisbane, where they will play two official warm-up matches against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19.

India will start the World Cup campaign on 23 October. Where he will face his arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Blue Army will take on the runners-up of Group A in the T20 World Cup qualifying round in Sydney on 27 October.
