Rohit and Virat have retired from T20 international cricket. In such a situation, both the players are not part of the series. Shubman Gill has been given the captaincy of the Indian team for this series against Zimbabwe.
After this, Team India will tour Sri Lanka for the white ball series. There will be 3 ODIs and a T20I series between India and Sri Lanka. The tour will begin with the T20 series, the first match of which will be played on July 27. The last match of the T20 series will be played on July 30.
