The worrying thing is that 5 players who were selected for the Champions Trophy returned cheaply. Captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant were flops. Shubman Gill, who led Punjab, was also a huge disappointment. Shubman was responsible for giving Punjab a good start. However, Shubman Gill could only score 4 runs against Karnataka. Shubman faced 8 balls and returned.

On the other hand, Team India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant’s condition in terms of runs was seen worse than Gill’s. The bat of this explosive batsman from Delhi is not at all smooth. Pant could not reach double figures either.
