Third Day of India vs Bangladesh Test Abandoned Due to Rain

The third day’s play of the second Test match between Team India vs Bangladesh has also been cancelled. BCCI has informed on social media that the game has been canceled due to a wet pitch. This match has been organized at Green Park in Kanpur. The second day’s play was also abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain and a wet pitch. Even on the first day, only 35 overs could be played. Therefore, there is a high possibility that this match will be canceled.

BCCI Inspections Fail to Bring Hope

BCCI’s inspected the pitch 3 times at 2 hours apart. BCCI conducted inspections at 10 am, 12 noon, and 2 pm. Cricket fans were expecting the match to start after the pitch was dry after the rain. But that could not happen. A decision was made to call off the day’s play just minutes after the 2 pm inspection.
