Travis Head and Pat Cummins Skip MLC 2025 – Full Retention List Announced
Head played an important role in leading Washington Freedom to the title with his stormy batting. He scored a total of 336 runs in nine innings. He was second on the list of highest run-scorers in the season. Head had said a few days ago that he would set a limit on playing in franchise cricket.
At the same time, Freedom has retained Australia’s Steve Smith. However, his availability will depend on the Australian team’s Test matches. Freedom’s team has retained the most domestic cricketers.
Apart from this, Freedom has also retained the most foreign players. Apart from Smith, the franchise has retained Australia’s Glenn Maxwell, Jack Edwards, and New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson. Akeel Hussain and Andrew Tye have been released by the team.
