Umesh says that it is very shocking for me to remain unsold in IPL 2025. Whereas earlier in the mini-auction of IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans had bought him for Rs 5.80 crore.

Yadav further said- That selection depends on the franchise and their strategies. Even though my name came late in the auction and they had no money left. Despite this, something happened there and I am very disappointed and upset. But still, it is okay, I cannot change anyone else’s decision.

It is worth noting that Yadav has taken a total of 144 wickets in 148 matches played in IPL at an economy of 8.49 and an average of 29.98. Taking 4 wickets for 23 runs is his IPL best performance.
