KL Rahul Injured in LSG vs RCB Match
During the match between Lucknow SuperGiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore (LSG vs RCB), bad news came for fans as captain KL Rahul was badly injured and had to leave the field. Athiya Shetty, who came to support the LSG team, was horrified to see her partner’s injury and her reaction went viral on social media.
In the match, RCB scored 126 runs while batting first. While chasing the target, the Lucknow team faced difficulties against RCB’s good bowling and could only score 108 runs, resulting in Royals Challengers Bangalore winning the match by 18 runs. However, a ruckus occurred between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir at the end of the match.
Match Ends with Brawl and Handshake Snub
The fight between Kohli and Gambhir seems to be increasing rather than decreasing. During the Lucknow match, an argument broke out between the two players, which became so heated that other players and staff had to intervene.
After the match, while both teams were returning towards the pavilion, Kyle Meyers was seen saying something to Kohli during a conversation, leading to another scuffle between Gambhir and Kohli with a lot of argumentation.
The video footage shows that Amit Mishra of the Lucknow team and Faf du Plessis, the captain of the Bengaluru team, had to come to the rescue as well. The incident occurred after RCB’s victory against Lucknow.

At the end of the match, as is customary, all the players came to the ground to shake hands with each other. However, the fight had spread so much that fans couldn’t tell whether they had come to watch the match or the fight. During the handshakes, Gambhir and Kohli once again faced each other, but Gambhir shook his hand backwards without shaking hands with Kohli.
