Delhi Police held a meeting with DDCA people last evening on security measures around the stadium and decided to deploy more security personnel for the second dayโ€™s play.

Senior DDCA official told IANS, โ€œSecurity personnel have also been deployed on the boundary line to ensure that no cricket fans run on the field during the game.

Delhi Chasing Railwaysโ€™ Total

On the first day of the match, an eager fan Gautam Gambhir ran through the stands to touch the feet of Kohli who was present on the field. All this happened during the 12th over of the match. He was taken away by the security personnel. Kohli, standing at the second slip, had signalled the security personnel not to collide with the fan.

Talking about the match, Delhi had scored 41/1 in 10 overs till stumps on the first day and is trailing Railways by 200 runs. On the first day, wicketkeeper-batsman Upendra Yadav scored a brilliant 95 runs in 177 balls, helping Railways score 241 runs in 67.4 overs.

He shared a 104-run partnership with Karn Sharma. Who scored a half-century in 106 balls, and a 59-run partnership with Himanshu Sangwan, who scored 29 runs to help Railways achieve a respectable score. For Delhi, fast bowler Navdeep Saini and spinner Sumit Mathur took three wickets each, while fast bowlers Siddhant Sharma and Mani Grewal took two wickets each.
