Pratika Rawal: A Rising Star in Indian Womenโs Cricket
On the strength of the centuries of Pratika and captain Smriti Mandhana, the Indian women put up a total of 435 on the board, which is the highest total of India in the history of ODI cricket. Pratika Rawal also won the Player of the Series title by performing brilliantly in all three matches of the series.
Pratika Rawal was born on 1 September 2000 in Delhi. She plays domestic cricket for Delhi and Railways. She represented Delhi from 2021 to 2024 before playing for Railways. Pratika completed her schooling at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.
She scored 92.5 per cent marks in the CBSE board exam in 12th. Pratika then graduated in Psychology from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.

Early Life and Education
Pratika Rawalโs father is a BCCI-certified Level-2 umpire of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Pratika has been interested in sports since childhood.
Apart from cricket, she also played basketball for Bal Bharti School in Rajendra Nagar and won a gold medal in the 64th School National Games in Delhi in January 2019. Pratika took her first training under coach Shravan Kumar at the Gymkhana Cricket Academy, Rohtak.
International Debut and Career Highlights
Pratika Rawal made her international cricket debut for India during the home series against West Indies in December. She scored 40 runs in her debut match and shared a 110-run partnership with Smriti Mandhana. In the same match, Pratika also took her first international wicket by dismissing Hayley Matthews.
