Babar Azam is firm on his decision. Now the question that has arisen before everyone is who will be the captain of the team. According to reports from some sources, today on Wednesday, it has been reported that Mohammad Rizwan may take over the command of the team, not Shaheen Afridi.

According to Pakistan’s news channel Geo News, the reins of white ball cricket captaincy are most likely to go into the hands of Mohammad Rizwan. Even though Shaheen Afridi held the post of Pakistan captain for some time. He was not very successful in terms of leadership and the team’s performance was poor. Therefore, he was removed from the captaincy and Babar was once again made the captain in the T20 World Cup. Babar Azam also left the captaincy after the ODI World Cup 2023. After removing Shaheen Afridi from the captaincy, there was a sourness in the relationship between Babar and Shaheen in the Pakistan team.
