New Zealand Squad Announced for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

The New Zealand cricket team has been announced for the Women’s T20 World Cup to be played from 3 October to 20 October. The women’s selection committee selected the 15-member New Zealand team on Tuesday.

Sophie Devine will lead the team. Let us tell you that the Women’s T20 World Cup was earlier to be held in Bangladesh, but because of the poor condition of the country, the tournament was shifted to another country. Now the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in Dubai and Sharjah. A total of 23 matches will be played at both these places. Sophie Devine’s Last Tournament as T20 Captain

This will be Sophie Devine’s last assignment as captain in T20 International cricket. Sophie had already announced that she will be a part of the team along with Suzie Bates after the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 and this will be her 9th T20 World Cup. Rosemary Mair’s return to the New Zealand team will strengthen the New Zealand pace attack. Rosemary Mair did not go on the England tour due to a back injury.
