WPL 2025 Auction Live Streaming: How many players will be included in the WPL auction, what is the budget, and what is the team budget?

IPL is extremely popular in cricket. Similarly, the Women’s Premier League was started to promote the popularity of women’s cricket. After the IPL mega auction, players will now be auctioned for the Women’s Premier League.

The auction for WPL will be held tomorrow on 15th December in Bengaluru. Just like the IPL, organizing it smoothly will be a challenging task. A total of Rs 639.15 crore was spent during the IPL auction.

120 players to be included in the auction:

A total of 120 players will participate in the WPL auction. Out of these, 91 are Indian players. Apart from this, 29 international players are part of it. Which also includes three emerging talents of Associate Nations. 30 capped players are part of this auction, which includes 9 Indian and 21 foreign players. The list of 90 uncapped players includes 82 Indian and 8 foreign players.

Auction time:

This year, most franchises have retained their core teams, leaving 19 slots open for bidding. Five slots are reserved for foreign players. The auction will start at 3:00 pm. While the broadcast will start 30 minutes earlier.
