WPL 2025: RCB Captain Smriti Mandhana Confident of a Strong Performance

Defending champion Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Smriti Mandhana is full of confidence and hopes that her team will perform well this time too. She said-

“It is not just about one team—the competition is constantly increasing. You must have seen the difference from the first season to the second season, so I cannot target any one team. We all want to play good cricket and take women’s cricket to a new level.

Jemimah Rodrigues: Delhi Capitals Focused on Winning the Trophy

This season we will focus on small things and will not think too far ahead.” Delhi Capitals star batsman Jemima Rodriguez said about WPL 2025

Last year’s runner-up Delhi Capitals is coming out to win the trophy this time. The team’s star batsman Jemima Rodriguez described preparation and adaptability as the most important in T20 cricket. She said-

“Anything can happen in T20 cricket and we cannot take any team lightly. The most important thing is that we focus on our preparations and implement our strategy well. I cannot control the results, but I will try to do what is in my hands in the best way. Our goal will be to play excellent cricket.”

Harmanpreet Kaur: Mumbai Indians Aiming for Another Title

Captain of the first season’s champion Mumbai Indians, Harmanpreet Kaur, wants to maintain the tradition of success of Mumbai’s franchise cricket by winning the title again this time. She said-

“As a cricketer, our main goal is to play good cricket and make the team win. There is a lot that happens off the field—everyone has their favourite team, but when you are in the middle of the field, the only thing that matters is to play for the team and fight till the end.”

Harmanpreet further said, “We do not want to do anything different or special, but we just have to play in the present. In the first season, we did many things right, while the second season was a bit challenging. This time we will refresh the memories of our championship-winning season and play in the same style.”

UP Warriorz & Gujarat Giants Ready for the Challenge

UP Warriors all-rounder Deepti Sharma, who is trying to reach the final for the first time, is confident of the support she will get from the home crowd. She said-

“The support of the home crowd will be very important for us. This will give us a lot of energy. We will try our best to reach the final for the first time.”

At the same time, Gujarat Giants is also ready to make a big impact this season. Team batsman Harleen Deol said-
