WPL 2025: After two successful seasons of the Women’s Premier League, fans are eagerly awaiting the third season. BCCI is currently having to work hard to decide the dates and venues for the upcoming season.
According to recent reports, the 2025 season is expected to start on February 6 or 7. Also, like last year, the WPL will once again be held in a caravan format.
WPL 2025: Schedule and Venues
- First Leg: Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow
- Final Match: Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara, on March 9
A source told Sportstar, “Since there will be 23 matches, it will be held at two venues. The idea is to spread this game throughout the country.”
Please note that international matches have been played in Ikana Stadium in Lucknow. It is also the home ground of IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants. At the same time, the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara recently hosted the first international series between India Women and West Indies Women.

RCB Women Aim to Defend the Title
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the title last season by defeating Delhi Capitals. Under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana, RCB created history as the men’s team has not won a single title till now. In the upcoming season, the RCB women’s team will look to defend the title with a brilliant performance.
