WTC Points Table: India won the first Test against Australia by 295 runs. After winning the toss, India decided to bat first. But the hopes of the sports lovers were dashed as they were all out for 150 runs. Meanwhile, under the leadership of Jasprit Bumrah, the bowlers did their best.

India Wins 1st Test Against Australia by 295 Runs

Australia was restricted to 104 runs. In the second innings, the morale of the batsmen increased due to the great partnership of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul.

Both of them shared a partnership of 201 runs for the first wicket. After that, Virat Kohli made a mountain of runs by scoring a century. After scoring 487 runs in the second innings, they challenged the first innings lead to 533 runs.

But while meeting this challenge, Australia fell. Australia could reach 238 runs. Travis Head played a tough game in the second innings. Bumrah succeeded in removing his fork.

He scored 89 runs off 101 balls. India’s victory became easy after his dismissal. With this win, India has once again reached the top position in the World Test Championship points table.
