Australia’s leg-spinner Adam Zampa created history by taking 4 wickets against Namibia on Wednesday (June 12). The 24th match of T20 World Cup 2024 was played between Australia and Namibia. Adam Zampa completed 100 wickets in his T20 international career from this match. Zampa became the first Australian bowler to take 100 or more wickets in T20Is.
Adam Zampa became the 15th bowler in the world to take 100 or more wickets in T20 International cricket. He became one of only 6 legspinners in the world to reach 100 wickets. Apart from this, Adam Zampa has become the Australian bowler who has taken the most wickets in the history of the T20 World Cup. Zampa has taken 31 wickets in the T20 World Cup. He surpassed Mitchell Starc (29 wickets).

Adam Zampa made the Namibian batsmen dance to the rhythm of his spin in the match played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Adam Zampa took 4 wickets giving only 12 runs in 4 overs. Zampa reached the 100-wicket mark in the 83rd T20I of his career.
