Oman Falls Short in the Chase
Oman’s pursuit of the 165-run target started with promise but was quickly derailed by regular wickets. Despite resilient knocks from Ayan Khan and Mehran Khan, Oman couldn’t maintain the required momentum. The Australian bowlers, led by Adam Zampa’s crucial breakthroughs, kept the pressure on throughout the innings. Oman ultimately finished at 125 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs, falling short by 39 runs. This victory reinforces Australia’s strong position in the tournament and highlights their balanced team performance with both bat and ball.
