Markram has named Jaspreet Bumrah as the most dangerous bowler in world cricket and not Australia’s Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Shaheen Afridi.
Aiden Markram Names Jasprit Bumrah as Toughest T20I Bowler
Aiden Markram has admitted that it is very difficult to play a shot against Bumrah in T20. Markram said about Bumrah that, when Jaspreet Bumrah bowls, his balls have accuracy and deceptive variations which are enough to confuse the batsmen. This is the reason why even if you want, you cannot hit a big shot against him in T20.
During an interview with Jio Cinema, Markram reacted to the question asked about Bumrah. Markram praised Bumrah’s unique style and pinpoint accuracy and acknowledged his challenge for batsmen, especially in T20 cricket, it is very difficult to play against him.

Bumrahâs Impressive Career and Recent Success
Talking about Jasprit Bumrah’s T20 career, the fast bowler has so far managed to take 89 wickets in 70 T20 International matches. Bumrah has done wonders of taking a total of 295 wickets in 233 matches in overall T20.
Jasprit Bumrah performed brilliantly for India in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Bumrah’s bowling was also one of the reasons why India succeeded in winning the title of T20 World Champion. Bumrah was awarded the Player of the Tournament title in the T20 World Cup. Bumrah took 15 wickets in eight matches, which included two wickets for 18 runs in the final.
