IND w vs AUS w – In the third ODI match between Women’s Team India and Women’s Australia, Australia team has won by 190 runs. Australia scored 338-7 in 50 overs when batting first.
Chasing this challenge, Team India is all out for 148 runs. Australia’s Ashley Gardner top-scored with three wickets and Annabelle Sutherland, Alana King and Megan Schutt took two wickets each.
In the three-match series, the Australian team has given a whitewash to the Indian team by winning all the three matches. Even at the beginning of the new year, Team India has been disappointed.
Team India’s batting
Chasing 339 runs given by Australia, Team India had a bad start. The first shock was in the fifth over. Opener Yastika Bhatia returned with five runs. Smriti Mandhan scored the highest 29 runs.
None of the other players could make a big innings. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur was dismissed for 3 runs in today’s match as well. Harmanpreet failed in all three ODIs.
Jemima Rodrigues remained unbeaten on 25 and Deepti Sharma remained unbeaten on 25. Yastika Bhatia, Richa Ghosh, Amanjot Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar could not play big.
Australia’s batting
Phoebe Lichfield scored 119 runs for Australia. Captain Alyssa Healy scored 82 runs. Lichfield have scored more than 50 runs in all three matches.
The duo put on a whopping 189-run partnership before crossing the 330-run mark with the help of Ashley Gardner’s 30 runs and Alana King’s 26 runs. Shreyanka Patil took the maximum three wickets and Amanjyot Kaur took two wickets from Team India.
