Australia Announces Playing XI for Fourth Test Against India

Australia’s Playing XI: The fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is starting between India and Australia on Thursday, 26 December. The Australian team has announced its playing 11 for this traditional test match.

Sam Constas Makes Test Debut

Australia has made a big decision. It has selected 19-year-old young batsman Sam Constas for the team. Apart from this, the doubts about Travis Head’s playing due to injury have also ended. He has also got a place in the playing 11.

When Australia announced its team for the last two test matches, Sam was given a place and Nathan McSwanney was shown the way out. Since then it was believed that Sam could get a chance in the match to be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Scott Boland Replaces Injured Hazlewood

osh Hazlewood is out of the entire series due to injury. He got injured in the third test match and he went out in the middle of the match. Scott Boland has returned in his place. Boland got a chance in the second test match. Even then Hazelwood was out due to injury. Now once again Boland has been selected in the team in his place.

Head had some problem with the quad muscle due to which there was doubt about his playing, but Head practised on Christmas Day and proved his fitness and he has also been included in the team playing 11. Pat Cummins said that Head is completely fit and ready to play.
