SuperSport Park Centurion Test: South Africa has announced its playing XI for the first Test against Pakistan, set to take place at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
South Africa Opts for All-Seam Attack
The team will see 30-year-old all-rounder Corbin Bosch making his Test debut. Bosch recently impressed with a 40-run knock in his ODI debut against Pakistan, and his inclusion strengthens South Africa’s all-pace bowling attack, which includes Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, and Dane Paterson.
Skipper Temba Bavuma highlighted Bosch’s pace and recent performances as key factors in his selection. Due to an injury crisis, sidelining players like Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, Bosch’s debut is seen as a timely boost for the team
