India vs. Australia: Suryakumar Yadav Shines in T20 Opener

The five-match Twenty20 series between India and Australia kicked off, with the Indian team securing a victory in the first match under the leadership of newly elected captain Suryakumar Yadav.

The young Indian brigade, led by ‘Surya,’ displayed an impressive performance, with the captain himself contributing significantly with a remarkable knock of 80 runs.

After the match, the BCCI shared a video in which Suryakumar Yadav answered questions about his innings.

Although ‘Surya’ answered most questions correctly, he stumbled when asked about the ball on which he was dismissed, expressing confusion and humorously mentioning who would remember such details.

Questionnaire:

  • How many fours did you hit? Answer: 9 fours
  • How many sixes did you hit? Answer: 4 sixes
  • What was your strike rate? Answer: 190 (Correct Answer – Approximately 191)

In a thrilling last over, India needed seven runs to win. Rinku Singh‘s boundary on the first ball and a run off the second brought Akshar Patel to the crease.

However, Akshar’s attempt to play a big shot led to his dismissal. Subsequent wickets fell, and India required one run off the last ball.

Despite Rinku Singh hitting a six on the last ball, the victory was sealed with a no-ball, preventing Rinku from adding six runs to his score.
