PCB’s Proposal to India
According to Cricbuzz, the PCB has written a letter to the BCCI saying that if the Indian team is avoiding staying in Pakistan due to security reasons, then after playing every match, if it wants to go back to Chandigarh or New Delhi, full help will be given. A PCB official confirmed this arrangement and said that there is a gap of about a week between the last two matches.
Government’s Role and Hybrid Model
It is worth noting that the BCCI has made its stand clear that whether India will tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy or not, its approval depends on the government. It is known that if India does not go to Pakistan, then the tournament is likely to be held under the hybrid model. However, the PCB wants to organize all the matches of India in Pakistan by any means and has sent a new proposal to the BCCI for this.
