Controversy in Pakistan cricket? Shaheen Afridi breaks silence

Controversy Surrounds Pakistan Cricket

There has been controversy in Pakistan cricket for some time now. Many said that Shaheen Shah Afridi and Babar Azam had a rift. Former Pakistan players have repeatedly taken up the issue and targeted the Pakistan Cricket Board. After a poor performance in the ODI World Cup and the Twenty20 World Cup, Pakistan’s train derailed. Since then, the neighbors have been facing constant defeat. Recently, Bangladesh went to Pakistan and defeated them 2-0 in the Test series. Now Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi gave a cautious reaction while expressing his opinion.

Shaheen Afridi’s Response

Shaheen said I don’t know which cricket connoisseurs and YouTubers are watching cricket these days. I am bowling well, taking wickets, and working hard on my bowling. I don’t follow social media, but these days people are making a lot of money from YouTube. Workload management gets talked about a lot these days for no reason. There was no workload management when Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis bowled. Players should be mentally strong and take good care of themselves.

Also, there must be a consensus between the players and the board. Some things need to be improved. Sometimes there are misunderstandings, which need to be resolved. Shaheen Afridi also said that I think the players should only play cricket and the cricket board will take care of the rest. Pakistan is going to play a Test series against England in their home country soon.
