Mumbai: Pakistan’s dream of defeating Australia in Australia in the Test series has been shattered. For the last 16 years, we have to face constant defeat. Even now, Australia won the three-match series 2-0.
Australia had challenged 316 runs for victory in this match. Due to the combination of Shan Masood and Babar Azam, this challenge was expected to be easily achieved.
So what Australians miss out on? A similar incident was seen on the fourth day of the Test. It was seen that Babar Azam was upset with Steve Smith’s actions. The incident happened after the tee break on the fourth day of the second innings.
Incredible banter!
Look at how Babar asks Smith only to bat, when he is getting ready to take guard and Smith goes 🙏

Shaan Masood and Babar Azam entered the field to play. That’s when Steve Smith saw the opportunity and tried to play Rudy’s innings. But seeing Azam’s attitude, Babar apologized and retreated.
Babar Azam was asking the umpires for the stump line. Just then, Steve Smith came behind the stumps and dismissed Babar. Babar was visibly angered by Steve’s comments.
Without a moment’s thought he made to hand his bat to Steve. His gesture should have told you to bat. But Steve Smith’s work was done. So he immediately retreated, smiling and apologizing.
Babar Azam could not do anything special in the second Test match either. He was dismissed for 1 in the first innings and 41 in the second. In the year 2023, Babar Azam could not score a single half-century in Tests.
On the other hand, Pakistan captain Shan Masood while analyzing the defeat said that we fell into the pit of defeat due to the innings of Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh.
