The third and final T20 cricket match between UAE and Afghanistan will be played on Tuesday, January 2. This match has been organized in Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The match will start at 7:30 PM. Ibrahim Zadran has the leadership of Afghanistan. Muhammad Wasim will captain the UAE. Currently, the 3-match series is tied at 1-1.
Therefore, the third match will be decisive in terms of the series. There is a chance to win the series with a third game. So we will see a good fight between UAE and Afghanistan.
Afghanistan won the first match by 72 runs on 29 December. Afghanistan had set a challenge of 204 runs in front of UAE. But UAE could score only 131 runs in 20 overs after losing 4 wickets in front of Afghanistan’s bowling.
Afghanistan thus took a 1-0 lead in the series. Having lost the first match, the second match was do-or-die for the UAE. UAE made a miraculous comeback in the second match.
UAE scored 166 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. So Afghanistan got a challenge of 167 runs. However, UAE managed a brilliant defense of 167 runs to bowl out Afghanistan for 155 runs in 19.5 overs.
UAE thus leveled the series 1-1. So now in the third match, cricket fans will get to see a good fight and a tug-of-war. Now the attention of cricket fans will be on who will win the third match and the series.
