Although the BCCI has not yet announced the retention rules, according to the report, Pant will be the top retention choice for Delhi Capitals. Pant and co-owner Parth Jindal had a meeting in Mumbai recently. This decision has been taken only after this meeting. Pant’s current IPL salary is Rs 16 crore, but this figure is expected to increase. Pant was out of the 2023 season due to a car accident. At the same time, he made a strong comeback in the IPL this year. Pant scored 446 runs in a total of 13 matches played this season at an impressive strike rate of 155.
