Injury Ends Bravo’s CPL Career

Dwayne Bravo played his last match in the CPL on Tuesday. Due to a back injury while fielding against St Lucia Kings, he has now said goodbye to his CPL career even before the playoffs. Bravo was injured while trying to catch Kings captain Faf du Plessis in the seventh over. He immediately left the field and did not bowl a single over, which proved to be his last CPL match.

Bravo’s Legacy in CPL

After this, Bravo came out to bat for TKR for the last time. He could face only one ball and was seen getting emotional at the end of the match. After the match, TKR captain Kieron Pollard gave him an emotional farewell. At the same time, after Bravo got injured and limped off the field, Du Plessis hugged him and later bid farewell to the CPL legend.

Bravo has been the most successful player in the CPL. He has won a total of five titles, including three with TKR. He led TKR to consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018 and then played a key role in helping the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots win their first title in 2021.
