Duckett’s Century in Vain
England’s Ben Duckett scored a century. Duckett scored 107 runs off 91 balls. Duckett hit 13 fours and 2 sixes in this innings. Captain Harry Brook scored a half-century. Brook scored 72 off 52 balls. Philip Salt scored 45 and Adil Rashid scored 36 runs. Travis Head took the most wickets from Australia with 4 wickets. The trio of Aaron Hardy, Adam Zampa, and Glenn Maxwell took 2 wickets each.

Promising Start for Australia
Australia got off to a great start chasing 310 runs. Travis Head and Matthew Short both shared an opening partnership of 78 runs. Head was then dismissed on the first ball of the eighth over. Head scored 31 off 26 balls. Matthew Short scored 58 runs in 30 balls. Short hit 7 fours and 4 sixes in this innings. Captain Steven Smith and Josh English returned unbeaten when play was stopped due to rain. Steven scored 36 and Inglis scored 28. Both Matthew Potts and Brayden Kars took 1 wicket each.
