India’s Probable Playing XI for Champions Trophy: The 15-member Indian team was announced on Saturday for the Champions Trophy 2025. Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson was ignored in this team.
Apart from this, many players including fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj, Karun Nair, and Shivam Dubey did not get a chance.
After the announcement of the Indian team, questions are now being raised as to what could be India’s perfect playing 11 during the tournament.
Team India Strong Top Order to Lead India’s Campaign
Captain Rohit Sharma can open the innings. Vice-captain Shubman Gill can come on the field to support him. In such a situation, backup opener Yashasvi Jaiswal may have to sit on the bench. Virat Kohli is almost certain to play at number 3. Shreyas Iyer, who batted brilliantly in the ODI World Cup 2023, can be fielded at number 4.

Middle Order and All-Rounders: Balancing the Lineup
2 wicketkeepers have been selected in the Indian team in the form of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant. In such a situation, only one of them is likely to get a chance in the playing 11.
In this condition, the second wicketkeeper will have to stay out of the playing 11. All-rounder Hardik Pandya can be given a chance at number 6 and spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja at 7. However, there will also be a battle between Washington Sundar and Axar Patel to replace Jadeja.
Bowling Unit: Spin and Pace Attack in Focus
Kuldeep Yadav is almost certain to be in the playing 11 as the second spinner. Along with this, captain Rohit Sharma can take the field with 3 fast bowlers. These include Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. Shami bowled brilliantly in the ODI World Cup 2023.
