Coach Gary Kirsten Resigns After Pakistan’s Test Series Victory

After losing the Test series opener against England by a huge margin, the Pakistan Cricket Board took some bold decisions.

Former captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah were benched. Then Sajid Khan, Nauman Ali, and Kamran Ghulam, who got their chance, performed wonderfully. Pakistan eventually won the Test series 2-1. Coach Gary Kirsten resigned from the post because the Pakistan Cricket Board was being told anything about him.

Meanwhile, as soon as Pakistan won the Test series, team coach Gary Kirsten resigned from his position. Accepting his resignation, the PCB said Jason Gillespie will coach the Pakistani t men’s cricket team on their tour of Australia next month.

Mohammad Rizwan has been entrusted with the responsibility as the captain of Pakistan’s limited-overs team. Pakistani team will tour Australia from November 4 to November 18. A three-match ODI series will be played there. This will be followed by a three-match Twenty20 series.
