It was Team India’s seventh consecutive T20I win at the Eden Gardens. Team India completed the challenge of 132 runs from England by losing 3 wickets in 12.5 overs. Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakraborty became the heroes of Team India’s victory.
Abhishek Sharma scored 79 runs in 34 balls. Before that Varun Chakraborty took 3 wickets giving 23 runs. Also, all-rounder Hardik Pandya did not get a chance to contribute much with the bat. But Hardik took 2 wickets. Hardik also broke the records of both pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Hardik and Arshdeep Break Records
Hardik has broken both Jasprit and Bhuvneshwar’s record for wickets in T20Is. Along with Hardik, he has become the third-highest wicket-taker for Team India in T20Is. Hardik dismissed England’s Jacob Bethall and left Bhuvneshwar Kumar behind.
Bumrah’s record was broken by dismissing Jofra Archer. Hardik conceded 42 runs in 4 overs at an economy rate of 10.50.
Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh also took 2 wickets in this match. Arshdeep also became the first Indian to take the most wickets in T20Is. Arshdeep broke Yuzvendra Chahal’s record.
