Teams of both countries reached Gwalior on Wednesday for the T20 match between India and Bangladesh. Special attention was paid to the security of the players of both teams. Amidst tight security, the players were brought from Gwalior Airport to Hotel Usha Kiran Palace and Hotel Radisson with a police barricade.

Hindu Mahasabha demands match cancellation over alleged atrocities against Hindus

Both teams are ready for today’s practice session. Players of both teams will sweat it out on the net for three days starting Thursday in the stadium. Bangladesh team will practice from 1 pm to 4 pm and the Indian team will practice under flood light.

Meanwhile, a new protest has been seen in Gwalior. Hindu Mahasabha has demanded from the central government and BCCI that this T20 match to be held in Gwalior on 6 October should be cancelled. If this does not happen, then the right-wing organisation has decided that it will call for a Gwalior bandh on 6 October.

Workers of Hindu Mahasabha have expressed their protest in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh.  They have said that the match between India and Bangladesh on October 6 should be stopped. The reason for the protest by Hindu Mahasabha is the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh.

They have protested to raise their voice against the ‘atrocities’ against Hindus in the neighbouring country. If their demands are not met, the right-wing organisation has called for a Gwalior bandh on October 6.

On the other hand, security has been increased in the city. City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ashok Jadoun said that 20 workers of the Mahasabha have been arrested for protesting without permission and preventive action is being taken. This action was taken by the police when the protesters were reaching the stadium.
