Hardik Pandya’s Heroics Secure India’s T20 World Cup Victory

India has carved its name on the World Cup by defeating the South African team by 7 runs in the T20 World Cup final. Team performance was the key to India’s success in this thrilling match. All-rounder Hardik Pandya managed to pull Vijaysree in a match that was slipping away from Team India’s hands. South Africa’s Henrik Klaasen’s strike seemed to be slipping away from India as India chased down the target. But Hardik Pandya did his best and shocked Africa by dismissing Henrik Klaassen first and successfully defended 16 runs in the last over to realize the dream of 140 crore Indians to win the World Cup.

Emotional Celebrations on the Field

It was seen that all the players in the Indian team got emotional after lifting the T20 World Cup once again after 17 years. Rohit Sharma collapsed on the field in joy of victory, while Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammad Siraj started to shed tears of joy. Hardik Pandya, who has been enduring trolling for the past few months, has vented his emotions after this win. “My past six months seem to come back again. During this time I controlled myself very much. Often I wanted to cry, but I did not cry. Because I did not want to give any more pleasure to those who enjoyed my bad times, and I would never not give pleasure. But look at the grace of God… I got a chance to bowl the last over… I am speechless now,” said Hardik Pandya.

A Special Mention for Rahul Dravid

Expressing his happiness over the victory, Hardik Pandya further said, “Jasprit Bumrah and all the bowlers who bowled the last five overs have to be credited for this victory. I knew that if I had not remained calm, I would not have been able to perform like this. So I tried to be patient. I always like to play under pressure. I am very happy for our team coach Rahul Dravid. He is a great person to work with.”

Meanwhile, there are frequent whispers on social media about the alleged clash between Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. But after the end of yesterday’s match, Rohit kissed Hardik Pandya on the cheek and hugged him which was a comfort for the fans of Team India

Nationwide Jubilation

Like last year’s ODI World Cup held in India, India also reached the final in this tournament unbeaten. Interestingly, India became the first team to win the T20 World Cup undefeated in the tournament. After this great victory in India, Diwali was celebrated in heavy rain all over the country. Throughout the night cricket lovers cheered on the streets cheering for Team India. Cricket lovers rocked Saturday night chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Raja of Mumbai Rohit Sharma, Boom Boom Bumrah.
