India-Bangladesh Test Match Update
The second Test match between Team India and Bangladesh will be played on September 27. The match will be played at Green Park in Kanpur. India won the first match by 280 runs on the fourth day. Captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli both failed in this victory of Team India. Both of them couldn’t perform up to their standards. Rohit and Virat have been affected by it. Both have been hit in the ICC Test rankings. Virat Kohli has dropped out of the top 10 batsmen in the Test rankings. While Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal, the young batsmen of Team India have leaped.
Impact on Player Rankings
Both Rohit and Virat have faced setbacks in the ICC Test rankings due to their poor performances. Virat Kohli has fallen out of the top 10 batsmen in the rankings, now sitting in 12th place with 709 ratings. He has been overtaken by Pakistan’s Babar Azam, who is in 11th place with 712 ratings. Rohit Sharma has also dropped significantly; he is now ranked 10th with 716 ratings, falling five places.
