Rohit Sharma’s Record-Breaking Journey
Rohit Sharma will take the field for the first time after leading India to the T20 World Cup title. In this ODI series, he is set to surpass the records of two cricket legends, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rahul Dravid. Currently, Rohit has scored 10,709 runs in ODI cricket. He needs just 65 runs to surpass Dhoni’s tally of 10,773 runs and 181 runs to exceed Dravid’s 10,889 runs.
If Rohit scores 291 runs in the three matches, he will join the elite club of cricketers who have scored 11,000 runs in ODIs. So far, only Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Sourav Ganguly have achieved this feat.
