The thrilling day-night (D/N) encounter in Adelaide reached an astonishing 49 million viewers—a 22% increase over the 2020 D/N Test between the two teams. Viewing time increased to 4.2 billion minutes, a remarkable 26% increase over the corresponding match in the 2020 series.
The TVR for the Adelaide test also showed a significant increase, climbing 32% compared to the 2020 D/N test.
The first two Tests of the series have combined to reach 86 million viewers on television, representing a 55% increase over the 2020 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Viewing time increased to 12.8 billion minutes, a 75% increase over the previous version.
