India U19 Crushes Australia to Win Test Series 2-0
Under 19 Team India has had a blast at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. India won the second match of the Youth Test series against Australia by an innings and 120 runs. With this win, Team India has won the series by 2-0. Team India scored 420 runs in the first innings. But in reply, Australia was bowled in both innings. Australia could score 277 runs in the first innings. The second inning ended with just 95 runs. Team India thus bagged the series with a big win.

Team India’s Impressive Batting Display
Team India won the toss and decided to bat. Maat salami pair failed. Vihan Malhotra was dismissed with 10 runs and Vaibhav Suryavanshi with 3 runs. Nitya Pandya and KP Karthikeya then shared a century partnership for the third wicket. Nitya scored 94 runs in 135 balls. Karthikeya scored 71 runs in 99 balls. Nikhil Kumar scored 61 and captain Soham Patwardhan contributed 63 runs. Harvansh Panglia then scored a century of 117 runs. Mohammad Enan scored 26 runs and Sarmath Nagaraj scored 20 runs. All four bowlers from Australia took 2 wickets each.

Australia’s Struggles with the Bat
Only two from Australia could score 50+ runs in the first innings. While others knelt before Team India. Peak scored 117 off 199 balls off Captain Oli. Alex Lee Young added 66 runs. Mohammad Enon and Anmoljit Singh both took 4 wickets each for Team India. Australia had to wait more in the second innings. Only three from Australia could reach double figures. Steven Hoang top scored with 29 runs. Anmoljit Singh took the most 5 wickets from India
