England Dominate Pakistan, Just 4 Wickets Away from Victory
England cricket team has got a tight grip on the test match against Pakistan in Multan. England are just 4 wickets away from a winning start. On the fourth day, Englandโs batsmen scored runs in abundance. England declared the first innings at 823 for 7. England took a lead of 267 runs in the first innings with this. Pakistan slumped in the second innings. Pakistan scored 152 runs for the loss of 6 wickets by the end of the fourth dayโs play. So Pakistan is still trailing by 115 runs. So they have only 4 wickets in hand. Therefore, losing by an innings to Pakistan is a shame.
England started the dayโs play with 492 for 3. Joe Root and Harry Brooke dominated the batting. Pakistan bowlers knelt before these two. Root scored his sixth double-century in his Test career. Barry Brook also scored his first double-century. The two made the biggest partnership ever by England. Brook-Root put on a 454-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Salman Agha broke this pair.
