IND vs SA Test: South African Captain Reveals Concerns Despite Shami’s Absence

IND vs SA Test – The Test series between Team India and South Africa starts from tomorrow. The Boxing Day Test match will start from tomorrow.

Mohammed Shami is not in this Test series. Mohammad Shami recently showed his potential in the ODI World Cup. Shami won this World Cup. Shami became the highest wicket-taker in ODI World Cup 2023.

He has taken 24 wickets in 7 matches. Team India defeated New Zealand in the semi-final. Mohammad Shami became the hero of this victory.

Ahead of the first Test match starting tomorrow, South African captain Temba Bavuma has expressed his respect for the young talented cricketers in India.

The bowler who will replace Mohammad Shami in the team tomorrow can also put South Africa under pressure.

Mohammad Shami is the mainstay of Indian bowling. But he has withdrawn due to a heel injury. Either the popular Krishna or the inexperienced Mukesh Kumar can get a chance to replace Mohammed Shami.

Both Krishna and Mukesh Kumar are adept at swinging the ball. At the press conference, Temba Bavuma was asked a question about Mohammed Shami.

“Mohammad Shami is the best cricketer. India is India. They have room. Believe me, whoever replaces him can put you under pressure,” said Temba Bavuma.

How many years has India not won a Test series in South Africa?

Temba Bavuma praised India’s fast bowling in the absence of Mohammed Shami. The first Test match of the series will take place at Centurion ground. The first day’s play will be limited by rain.

Bavuma accepted the challenge of playing against India. South Africa has been unbeaten against India at home for the last 31 years. Bavuma said that they will attempt to maintain this record.
