Good news for cricket fans: The IPL 2024 auction might be in Dubai from December 15 to 19. The Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction could happen on December 9, probably in India.
Last year’s IPL auction was planned for Istanbul but moved to Kochi. This time, Dubai might host it, though no official notice has gone out.
The trading window is open, but no player exchanges are reported yet. Some high-paid players who didn’t perform well last season might get released.
As for the WPL, owners haven’t been informed about the venue or dates yet. It might take place in February, but the Indian women’s team has international matches until mid-January.
It’s uncertain if the WPL will be in one city, all in Mumbai like last year, or at different venues this time.
